Over the past few months, Russian occupation forces have stepped up their offensive in the Donetsk region, seeking to capture a number of strategically important cities.

As reported by NBN, citing an explanation voiced by Viktor Tregubov, spokesman for the Operational-Strategic Group of Forces (OSGV) “Khortitsa”, on the air of a telethon on the YouTube channel “TSN”, fierce hostilities continue in the areas of Chasovy Yar and Toretsk (Donetsk region).
Based on Tregubov's words, a “more or less stable line” of defense is actually being held in the vicinity of Chasovy Yar – Putin's army is on one side of the Seversky Donets/Donbass canal, and the defenders of Ukraine remain on the other side, controlling most of the districts in this city.
The Khortitsa speaker added that despite fairly regular Russian attacks, and despite the fact that Putin's troops are simultaneously trying to accumulate reserves and carry out attacks with additional reserve groups, the occupiers have made “no particular progress” in Chasovy Yar.
In addition, the military man emphasized that identical intense battles are also taking place in the Toretsk direction, but the “liberators” have not made any significant progress here either.
Earlier, our information portal wrote about the fact that the Ukrainian Armed Forces disclosed the size of the Russian group sent to capture Chasovy Yar.
