As NBN reports with reference to analytical material from the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), Putin's troops have concentrated maximum efforts on attempts to encircle the city of Pokrovsk in Donetsk region.
Geolocation footage released the day before, on January 5, shows that the occupiers, judging by everything, have occupied the settlements of Sviridovka and Timofeyevka (both east of Pokrovsk), and were also able to advance in the southeastern part of Elizavetovka (south of Pokrovsk), carrying out a mechanized attack.
However, statements by the “Kremlin mouthpieces” about the “liberators” consolidating north of Timofeyevka and along the T-0504 highway (connecting Pokrovsk and Konstantinovka), as well as moving north of Vozdvizhenka in the direction of Baranovka, Vodyanoye The second and Green Field are not confirmed by analysts from the Institute for the Study of War.
