The other day, During the Ramstein meeting, US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin announced the allocation of the final package of military aid to Ukraine, amounting to $500 million, but the funds have not yet been exhausted.
As NBN reports with reference to the official website of the US Department of Defense, Deputy Pentagon Spokesperson Sabrina Singh made a statement that the Joseph Biden administration has not spent the entire amount from the Ukraine support package (approved by Congress in April), and intends to transfer billions of dollars to Trump's team.
Based on Singh's words, the remaining amount is only slightly less than $4 billion dollars, and this money is allowed to be spent in accordance with the presidential powers article (PDA), if, of course, the next White House administration wishes to use the funds to support Ukraine.
It should be recalled that during his election campaign, the newly elected US president repeatedly stated his desire to end the war in Ukraine “24 hours”, while hinting that Washington is allocating too much money for comprehensive support of Kiev.
Earlier, our information portal wrote about Scholz blocking Germany's allocation of 3 billion euros for arms supplies to Ukraine.
