As reported by NBN, citing analytics from the State Statistics Service (Gosstat), the average cost of housing, water supply, electricity, gas and other types of fuel in Ukraine increased by 18.9 percent over the past year.
According to data from the national statistical agency, a number of the following tariffs have significantly “jumped,” and we are talking about:
- housing maintenance and repairs— by 3.9 percent, taking into account the period from December to December 2023-2024;
- garbage/household waste collection— by 8.9 percent;
- service for the management/administration of apartment buildings— by 11.2 percent;
- electricity supply— by 63.6 percent.
At the same time, the tariffs for the supply/distribution of natural gas, hot water/heating, as well as water supply/sanitation.
