This morning, NEC Ukrenergo reported that electricity consumption in the country has increased due to a drop in temperature. However, on Tuesday, January 14, power engineers do not plan to introduce power outage schedules, which they announced through the Kyiv Digital app, the NBN publication writes.
Today, emergency shutdowns were used in Zhytomyr region due to the consequences of the night attack, in addition, the company recalled that the situation in the energy system may change due to emergency restoration work at energy facilities after last year's massive shelling.
Ukrainians are urged to consume electricity sparingly from 8 am to 7 pm and not to use several energy-intensive devices at the same time during this period.
