Independent candidate for the post of Polish president Karol Navrotsky, who is supported by the main opposition party Law and Justice, recently said that today he does not see a place for Ukraine in any international structure. The politician claims that a country that does not want to resolve the issue of the Volyn tragedy cannot be part of international unions.
Zelensky reacted sharply to Navrotsky's statements in an interview with Polish media, the NBN newspaper reports.
The president warned that if our country does not integrate into the European Union and NATO, Russian occupation troops may end up on the Polish border. In this case, Navrotsky will have to stand up for his country and fight for his life. The Ukrainian leader advised the politician to take up arms and start training now, given the threat of war in Poland.
The guarantor emphasized that membership in international organizations is important for the security of Ukraine and its neighbors. If our country does not become a member of the EU and the Alliance, and remains alone with the Russian Federation, Poland will ultimately face a serious threat.
Earlier, the Ukrainian leader warned about the consequences of the US withdrawal from NATO for European countries.
