Most Americans do not support Donald Trump's desire to “buy Greenland,” but they are optimistic about his return to the presidency.

Results of a YouGov poll commissioned by the American television and radio company CBS News showed that 61% of US citizens do not approve of the newly elected head of state's desire to “acquire Greenland,” the NBN publication writes.
54% of respondents believe that the politician's talk of buying the Arctic island, which is part of Denmark, is an element of bargaining over something else. However, among the Republican's supporters, the majority likes this idea, 68% said so.
Considering Trump's scandalous statements on the eve of his inauguration, despite this, 60% of respondents have optimistic expectations of his return to the presidency. At the same time, 40% do not expect anything good after the 47th head of state comes to the White House.
