Nutritionist Irina Gizbrecht told what is healthy to give schoolchildren for breakfast and explained to parents what to do if the child does not eat well in the morning.

Gizbrecht in an interview with OBOZ.UA said that a schoolchild’s breakfast should consist of proteins, carbohydrates and fats so that his body receives building material for growth, informs “NBN”.

An expert on proper nutrition named four breakfast options for a schoolchild that will give him strength for the educational process:

Chicken/eggs, porridge, vegetables, fruit/piece of dark chocolate;

Fried eggs in ghee, whole grain bread with butter, vegetables, fruit/piece of dark chocolate;

Bread with liver pate, vegetables, fruit/piece of dark chocolate;

Sandwiches with red fish, vegetables, fruit/piece of dark chocolate.

According to the nutritionist, if a child eats poorly in the morning or refuses to eat at all, parents should try to make a ritual out of breakfast, when the whole family gathers at the table, or the child comes up with a dish of the day, or you serve him secret dish.

The expert drew attention to the fact that if a schoolchild has no appetite at all in the morning, he needs to wake up earlier or see a doctor to check if the child has bile stasis.
