After the inauguration, the 47th head of the White House commented on his promise to end the Russian-Ukrainian war in 24 hours, saying that he would try to stop the fighting as soon as possible.

According to him, “half a day has passed” and he “still has half a day,” the NBN publication reports, citing TSN.ua.

The American president said that he would be able to understand the possible timing of the end of hostilities in Ukraine only after talking with the Kremlin dictator. The head of the United States clarified that negotiations with Putin could take place very soon.

It should be noted that Trump mentioned China, Panama, Mexico, Israel, and even Mars in his inauguration speech, but did not say a word about Ukraine or the Russian Federation, which caused concern in Europe.

As reported, political analyst Vitaly Portnikov analyzed the statements made by the newly elected American president during his speech after the oath of office.
