Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky discussed the crash of the Azerbaijan Airlines passenger plane in Kazakhstan with the head of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

The leader of the Ukrainians on his page on the social network X (former Twitter) reported on the meeting with the head of Azerbaijan. According to him, he expressed condolences to Aliyev in connection with the crash of the Azerbaijan Airlines passenger plane in Kazakhstan on December 25.
The President emphasized that the evidence of the Russian Federation's involvement in the tragedy from the crash site is obvious, so it is important to put pressure on the aggressive country to force its leadership to tell the truth, the NBN publication writes.
The guarantor said that he discussed with his colleague the relations between Kyiv and Baku and their future development, in particular, increasing trade turnover between Ukraine and Azerbaijan, as well as cooperation in the energy sector.
Recall that last month, an Azerbaijan Airlines passenger plane crashed in Kazakhstan, which was flying from the Azerbaijani capital to Grozny. According to Baku, the airliner was hit by the air defense of the Russian Federation. However, the head of the Federal Air Transport Agency, Dmitry Yarov, found other “culprits” of the tragedy.
