As reported by NBN with reference to the material of Espresso, the commander of the Antares unmanned systems battalion of the 4th National Guard Brigade “Rubezh” Ruslan Poddubny made a statement – in the Kupyansk direction, the “liberators” are trying to wedge into the battle formations of the Defense Forces, carrying out, at a minimum, 2-3 assaults per day.
Based on Poddubny's words, the situation in the Kupyansk direction can be called difficult, and such a crisis is recorded not only in the zone controlled by the Rubezh brigade, but also in neighboring units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces deployed to the north and south. The military man added that in some cases the “second army of the world” prefers to stop attacks and go on the defensive if it encounters fierce resistance from the defenders.
In addition, due to the difficult terrain in this section of the front, and the active use of FPV drones by Putin's army, sometimes certain problems arise on the flanks of the National Guard – if the enemy is unable to break through with a frontal attack, then it begins to envelop, – “and, God forbid, bypass.”
Poddubny emphasized – sometimes our soldiers had to defend themselves at all 360 degrees, but at the current moment “there is no such situation”, since the situation is “very well controlled”, thanks to the effective use of unmanned systems by the National Guard.
