Not long ago, the management of the Italian football club Lecce already refused to “sell” the Dane Patrick Dorg for 27 million euros, ultimately significantly “raising the stakes.”

As NBN reports with reference to insider information published in the official X-account of sports journalist Fabrizio Romano, Lecce's top management was not satisfied with the format of the offer from British Manchester United, in particular, the sufficient amount of the “buyout” for the team's left back Patrick Dorgu.
As it became known, the “Mancunians” updated the commercial offer for the purchase of the 20-year-old Dane, adding another 3 million euros – it was assumed that the financial transaction would be carried out for more than 30 million euros.
However, according to Romano, the above amount was not enough: Lecce management insists on paying 40 million euros for the player's transfer, since they do not intend to sell the player for less in the “winter window”. In addition, if no new potential buyers for Dorgu are found, Lecce will hold on to the Dane until the summer.
