The leader of the Ukrainians in an exclusive interview with Sean Hannity for the American TV channel Fox News praised the rhetoric of the head of the White House in relation to the Russian Federation, calling it fair and honest.
According to him, the Kremlin dictator is afraid that such a strong leader as the head of the United States will support Ukraine, since this will strengthen it, the NBN newspaper writes.
Last week, the 47th President of America said that Putin needs to negotiate with Kiev to end the war, otherwise Washington will introduce new tough sanctions against the Russian economy.
Zelensky recalled that Moscow is not interested in ending the hostilities, while Ukraine does not intend to agree to the seizure of its territories. Therefore, other countries, in particular China, should put pressure on the Kremlin to reach an agreement.
The President also believes that the Russian dictator is not afraid of Europe, so security guarantees for Ukraine from European states alone will not be enough and the participation of the United States is necessary. The guarantor hopes that our country will receive real support from Trump in confronting the enemy.
Recall that the Rada allowed the possibility of canceling Zelensky's decree banning negotiations with the head of the Kremlin.
