As reported by NBN with reference to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), the Defense Forces of our country managed to advance in the Russian Kursk region against the backdrop of ongoing fierce fighting – the day before, on January 29, the Armed Forces of Ukraine were able to counterattack the “liberators” and repel the mechanized assault of the “second army of the world” northwest of Sudzha.
According to geolocation footage posted by ISW, the Armed Forces of Ukraine advanced along Novoselovka Street in the northwestern quarters of the village of Pogrebki (northwest of Sudzha), as well as near Malaya Loknya.
At the same time, the assurances of Russian “war correspondents” about the “successes” of Putin’s army west of Plekhovo, north of Guevo and south of Sudzha are in no way confirmed by analysts from the Institute for the Study of War. Also, identical propaganda by Russian propagandists about the achievements of Russian-invading troops in the direction of Russkoye Porechny (north of Sudzha) and near Sverdlikovo (west of the district center) are groundless.
In addition, the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out a series of counterattacks near Nikolskoye (northwest of Sudzha), effectively repelling an attack by mechanized units of the Armed Forces (the number of “manpower” is about a platoon), in which at least 4 armored vehicles were involved.

Earlier we wrote about the fact that the Ukrainian Armed Forces responded whether the intensity of the occupiers' assaults had really decreased.
