Keith Kellogg said that the Ukrainian and Russian leadership will need to make concessions if they hope to agree on ending the hostilities, the NBN newspaper writes, citing RFE/RL.
According to him, Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky has allegedly made it clear that he is ready to soften his position regarding the territories. Donald Trump's special representative added that Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin will also have to soften his position.
The American official said that representatives of the head of the White House “will hold discussions with everyone” in the near future, which is good for Kiev and Moscow.
Earlier, the head of the US said that his administration will hold meetings with representatives of Ukraine, the Russian Federation and “various parties.”
Recall that the head of the Czech Foreign Ministry, Jan Lipavsky, warned the West about the Russian Federation's “trap” in the negotiations.
