As reported by NBN, citing NeoWin material, OpenAI developers have deployed a new version of a chatbot based on artificial intelligence (AI) and created specifically for US government agencies.
As it became known, US government agencies are allowed to integrate an AI model called ChatGPT Gov into their commercial cloud resources Microsoft Azure/Azure Government to manage IL5, CJIS, ITAR, FedRAMP High and other similar technologies.
ChatGPT Gov (powered by OpenAI—GPT-4o) integrates much of the functionality and capabilities of ChatGPT Enterprise, allowing you to save and exchange messages in the workspace and upload text and image files.
OpenAI has revealed that some US government agencies have already made ChatGPT part of their infrastructure: we are talking about the US Research Laboratory, which uses this AI model for administrative purposes, primarily optimizing access to internal resources, basic coding, and machine learning support.
US agencies will also use ChatGPT Gov to solve various problems, including development of policies/applications, translation of documentation into foreign languages, and all information entrusted to the AI model will remain confidential and closed.
