During a joint press conference with the head of the British Foreign Office David Lemmy, the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry commented on the interest of the American leader in the valuable raw materials of our countries.
According to the diplomat, the concept of “peace through strength” has begun to be filled with specific actions, decisions and projects, which strengthens Ukraine's defense capability, the NBN newspaper writes.
The minister recalled that the plan for Ukraine's victory, which President Volodymyr Zelensky presented last year, includes a clause on the natural resources that our country is rich in, and on the ability of partners to make investments.
The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs explained that guarantees of the presence of large businesses in Ukraine, the interest of its closest allies, in particular the United States, in developing deposits of valuable resources and protecting them are one of the elements of implementing the concept of “peace through strength”.
Earlier, Trump proposed to continue the transfer of weapons to Ukraine in exchange for its rare earth resources. Moscow commented on the plan of the 47th head of the White House.
