Matyash commented on the Novyny.Live TV channel approach to mobilization, which provides for special contracts for Ukrainians aged 18 to 24. He called such an initiative unfair, writes the publication “NBN”.
The military man recalled the defenders who have been in the combat zone for a long time without the right to dismissal. Ukrainians aged 18-24 are offered a one-year contract with additional benefits, while fighters who have been “kneading the mud” for three years and losing their health do not receive additional compensation or the opportunity to demobilize.
According to him, such decisions are more reminiscent of “putting out a fire” than systematic work to defend Ukraine. Matyash added that if the authorities want to motivate young people to join the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces with certain privileges, they should also take into account the interests of those who stood up to defend the country in the first days of a full-scale war.
Recall that a serviceman of the 28th separate separate brigade spoke about the enemy's “ambush” tactics using drones in the Toretsk direction.
