As NBN writes with reference to DTEK’s constantly updated Telegram profile, the energy holding’s generating potential will be able to cover the low level of electricity consumption by the population against the backdrop of calendar warming, and it seems that the return of hourly power outages is not expected, either in Kyiv or in the Kyiv region.
Energy infrastructure facilities have undergone a series of serious tests, and household consumers are better off “burning” electricity more economically during peak load hours (9:00-11:00/16:00-22:00) so as not to again experience the impact of emergency shutdowns, as happened the other day.
Regarding the suspension/resumption of electricity supply to the population, you can find out both in the Kyiv Digital application and by opening the official online pages of DTEK:
- for Kiev residents and guests of the capital;
- for Kyiv region.
The Ukrenergo Telegram channel added: dispatchers are forced to constantly optimize the scheme for redistributing resources in the network, trying to “power” the maximum possible number of consumers, since they take into account all the consequences of Russian shelling, in particular, the time it will take to repair damaged equipment and the impact of regime restrictions in the operation of the power system.
Earlier we wrote that Kobolev explained why the Russian Federation intensified attacks on Ukraine’s gas production infrastructure.
