As NBN reports with reference to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), intense military action is taking place in a number of populated areas located around the city of Sudzha.

According to geolocation footage released on March 8, units of Russian occupation forces were able to capture the village of Cherkasskoye Porechnoye (north of Sudzha) and are advancing further.

If we are to believe the “war bloggers” associated with the Kremlin, the “second army of the world” also captured Lebedevka (west of Sudzha), Viktorovka, Nikolaevka, Kubatkin (northwest and north of Sudzha) and Martynovka (northeast of Sudzha), entering the “Kursk salient” to a distance of up to 8 kilometers.

Also, similar Russian sources assure that fierce battles do not cease along the Lebedevka/Kubatkin/Bondarevka line (northwest and east of Sudzha), and the “liberators” are gradually moving near Malaya Lokna (northwest of Sudzha) and in the western part of Kurilovka (south of Sudzha), and have also begun to storm Sudzha, but have encountered counteraction from the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which hold city positions, having retreated to this settlement from the northern bridgehead.
