As reported by NBN with reference to the YouTube channel Suspilne.Novini, a statement was made by the representative of the 13th brigade of the National Guard “Charter” Volodymyr Degtyarev explaining why, in recent days, Russian invaders themselves have been coming to the defenders of the Kharkiv region to surrender.

According to Degtyarev, several such captured Russians complained about constant shelling and inhuman conditions in which the “liberators” have to be on the battlefield. In particular, we are talking about the cold, the lack of water and food, and the lack of electric generators. All these prerequisites/factors lead to the fact that the captors, in the end, make the right choice and voluntarily surrender to the National Guard.

The representative of the Charter added that the enemy infantrymen do not have sufficient combat training (such soldiers are trained for 2 weeks and then thrown into battle), and are former prisoners who signed 6-month contracts with the Russian Ministry of Defense in the hope of getting “their several hundred thousand rubles” and being released. However, in the end it turns out that the contracts are permanent.

Earlier we wrote about how many Russians deserted from Putin’s army during the three years of war.
