Deputy CEO of the company producing electronic warfare equipment Anatoly Khrapchinsky answered whether Ukraine can replace Starlink communications with European analogues.

A former Air Force officer told OBOZ.UA that Europe has potential alternatives to Starlink, such as the OneWeb system, which appeared before Elon Musk's satellite communications, the NBN publication writes.
According to him, OneWeb has about 600 low-orbit satellites in Europe, which are inferior in power to the American billionaire’s network, which has more than 7,000 devices and provides better coverage.
Khrapchinsky recalled that Starlink is a private company that has been actively developing thanks to private investment, while most European satellite communications companies are state-owned. For this reason, their development is slowed down by bureaucracy and financial challenges.
