During a briefing, Putin's spokesman told Russian media that the Kremlin is “carefully studying” the statements made following the talks between Ukrainian and US representatives in Saudi Arabia, the NBN publication reports, citing the RIA Novosti propaganda agency.
According to him, White House National Security Advisor Michael Waltz and Secretary of State Marco Rubio will inform the Russian leadership about the details of the negotiations.
The official also admitted that the question of holding a telephone conversation at the “highest level” might arise, and if necessary, the call would be quickly organized.
Speaking about Washington's proposal for a 30-day truce, which Kyiv has already accepted, the Kremlin dictator's representative noted that Russia does not want to “get ahead” and intends to first receive full information from the United States.
At the same time, Western journalists learned how the Kremlin feels about the idea of a 30-day ceasefire and whether Putin would accept such a proposal.
