As reported by NBN, citing a telethon broadcast by the YouTube channel TSN, the secretary of the parliamentary committee on national security, defense and intelligence, Roman Kostenko, explained that fierce fighting continues in the area of the city of Sudzha in the Kursk region, and information about the withdrawal of the Defense Forces from this settlement is nothing more than a fake.

Based on Kostenko's words, today he talked to the fighters who are involved in Kurshchyna – the defenders did not confirm a complete withdrawal from Sudzha. However, information appeared – the “liberators” managed to enter and take control of a certain part of the city, and fighting continues here.

Kostenko emphasized:

…I have no information that our forces have completely left Sudzha as of two hours ago.

The MP added that the Ukrainian Armed Forces command is seeking to stabilize the crisis and restore the previous situation in the Kursk region by transferring new reserves to this area.

In addition, the secretary of the Defense Committee of the Verkhovna Rada emphasized that Putin’s army “continues to put pressure,” since there is information that in some areas the invaders have entered Ukrainian territory and are trying to hold a foothold on our land.

Earlier we wrote that ISW reported which settlements in Kursk region Putin’s army was advancing near.
