Over the past 6 months, the rental price of the most basic one-room apartment has increased in proportion to the cost of this type of housing.

As reported by NBN with reference to analytical material published by the State Statistics Service (Gosstat), the average monthly rent for a one-room apartment, at the end of last month, was 7,326 hryvnia.
According to statistics provided by the above-described department, since the beginning of 2025, prices for renting modest housing have grown by 1.5 percent, and the top five regions leading in the “inaccessibility” of 1-room apartments look like this:
- first place – Zakarpattia region with a stable 11,769 hryvnia/month (growth was 0 percent);
- second place goes to Lviv region with 10,626 hryvnia/month (growth was 1.7 percent);
- third place – Rivne region with 10,234 hryvnia/month (growth was 3.5 percent);
- fourth place goes to Kyiv with 9,777 hryvnia/month (growth was 1.5 percent);
- Fifth place goes to Khmelnytskyi region with 9,489 hryvnia/month (rent fell by 0.2 percent).
