Electricity consumption has increased in Ukraine. As explained by NEC Ukrenergo, this is due to cloudy weather in most regions, due to which household solar power plants operate less efficiently.
On Wednesday, March 19, as of 09:30, the level of electricity consumption was 3.4% higher than at the same time on Tuesday, NBN reports.
At the same time, power engineers do not predict the use of stabilization or emergency power outage schedules on Thursday, March 20, in particular in the Kyiv region and the capital.
Emergency recovery operations are ongoing at energy infrastructure facilities damaged by Russian strikes. To maintain balance in the energy system and reduce the load on it, consumers need to use electricity sparingly, especially between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
In case of changes in the power supply to residents of the capital and Kyiv region, DTEK will promptly inform on its pages in social networks. Stabilization or emergency power outage schedules will be available on the websites:
DTEK Kyiv Electric Grids;
DTEK Kyiv regional power grids.
Kyiv residents can also receive up-to-date information in the Kyiv Digital mobile application.
Recall that President Volodymyr Zelensky warned that Ukraine would respond to Russia if Putin’s army struck energy facilities.
