On the night of Thursday, March 20, a series of powerful explosions thundered in the Saratov region of the Russian Federation – dozens of attack drones carried out an attack on important facilities in Engels.

As NBN reports, citing New Voice sources, the above-described attack on the military airfield in Engels was the result of joint work by the SBU and the SSO (Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine).
The aforementioned airfield is home to the Russian Aerospace Forces' strategic aviation: from here, the terrorist state sent Tu-95MS, Tu-22M3, and Tu-160 aircraft to carry out air strikes on Ukraine. In addition, warehouses with various aerial bombs and cruise missiles were located within the perimeter of the facility.
As a result of the effective attack by kamikaze drones launched by SBU and SSO specialists, a large-scale fire, explosions and secondary detonation of ammunition were recorded in the area of the airfield. Also, the Russian Air Defense acted predictably and hit civilian infrastructure in Engels and Saratov with missiles.
The SBU added that they will continue to carry out surgically precise strikes on the main military facilities of the aggressor country, which are absolutely legitimate targets, since such special operations minimize the enemy’s potential to terrorize Ukrainian cities with missile attacks.
