As NBN reports with reference to the Associated Press, according to military experts and analysts, in the current spring season, the Russian generals intend to launch an offensive in various sections of the Ukrainian front, in total covering more than a thousand kilometers of the front line.
According to the updated intelligence assessment, the “second army of peace” will conduct a series of offensive operations in the north-east of Sumy region, as well as in Kharkiv and Zaporozhye regions, transferring its “inspired by victories” forces from Kursk region (if it can push the Ukrainian Armed Forces from the bridgehead in the south) to other parts of the front.
Evidence and signs confirming the preparation of the Russian Armed Forces for a new offensive in the short term:
- the occupiers are increasingly conducting aerial and ground reconnaissance in certain areas [apparently, this primarily concerns the Sumy region];
- The invaders are intensively identifying and destroying Ukrainian Armed Forces firing positions, drones and other means that could hinder the effectiveness and efficiency of the occupation of Ukrainian territories.
