As NBN reports with reference to the official Facebook profile of the Deputy Head of the Defense Ministry, Ekaterina Chernogorenko, soon, no later than May 8, the choice of two types of deferment will be integrated into “Reserve+”.
In the short term, the following will be able to apply for a deferment from mobilization:
- persons who are temporarily unfit for military service (from 6 to 12 months), if such a conclusion is made by the VVK (military medical commission);
- persons whose wife/husband serves in the Armed Forces of Ukraine or supports/raises a minor child (under 18 years of age).
Chernogorenko added that updating the system for granting deferments is a voluminous and multi-stage procedure, since access to state registers of various departments and organizations is pre-agreed upon and comprehensive interaction between these structures is established.
