As NBN reports with reference to the official Telegram profile of the head of the OPU Andriy Yermak, the relevant structures of our country managed to return home five more small Ukrainians from the temporarily occupied territories (TOT) and from Russia.
According to Yermak, among those rescued is a ten-year-old boy who had been under occupation for a long time with his sick grandmother. After the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, the boy's mother ended up in another city, but, taking risks, repeatedly tried to take her son out on her own, alas, without any results. Now, thanks to the intervention of the authorities and the support of partners, the family has been reunited in Ukraine.
Yermak added that the above was made possible thanks to efforts within the framework of the presidential initiative of Volodymyr Zelensky “Bring Kids Back UA”, and the direct participation of the Office of Ombudsman Lubinets, as well as the authorities of Qatar, who helped with the “mediation” of children.
The head of the OPU summed up:
We are carrying out the President’s task – to bring everyone back.
