The mayor of Kharkiv reported on his Telegram channel that, according to the situation center, 172 air raid sirens were recorded in the city and 190 in the region last month.
According to him, the number of shellings of Kharkov in March doubled compared to February, the NBN publication reports.
Last month, 42 enemy strikes were recorded: 4 by Molniya drones, 31 by Shahed kamikaze drones, 1 by Iskander-M ballistic missile, 6 by Shahed UAV fragments.
Terekhov said that as a result of Russian attacks on the regional center, 2 people were killed and 99 were injured, including 12 children.
The official noted that in recent weeks, the Russian Armed Forces have changed the tactics of drone strikes on the city. First, the occupiers release groups of “Shaheds” – UAVs attack residential and critical infrastructure facilities.
The mayor added that 30-40 minutes later, when all services are working on the ground, the invaders strike a second time, which leads to more casualties and destruction.
