As NBN writes with reference to the material from Ukrinform, the Deputy Head of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Mykhailo Vinnitsky, made a statement: up to 17 percent of the guys who left for other countries as part of the student exchange program refused to return to the country.
Based on Vinnitsky’s words, we are talking about 15-17 percent of those young men who went on “academic mobility” but did not return on time, which, for now, is not a critical figure that would allow us to limit the departure of this category of applicants.
The official specified that the case concerns students aged 18 to 22 who are studying for a bachelor's degree, and therefore the department plans to send requests to the rectors of domestic universities that are part of the Erasmus consortium (a program that provides for the exchange of students, teachers and scientists between EU member states), “so that their commissions more carefully select those who go on mobility.”
Earlier we wrote that the Ministry of Digital Development talked about the advantages of the electronic system that replaced the Medical and Social Expertise Commission.
