Now a new defense bloc is being formed around Ukraine, called the “coalition of the willing,” from countries determined to confront the Russian Federation, and it seems that the time of the familiar NATO is running out.

As reported by NBN with reference to the material from New Voice, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte made a statement: the delegation of the North Atlantic Alliance is not taking part in the negotiation process aimed at ending the war between Russia and Ukraine.

Based on Rutte's words, in reality only representatives of the US and Ukraine enter into discussions with the Russians.

In addition, the NATO Secretary General emphasized that he is glad that the US administration managed to move this issue from the “dead point”, as evidenced by one thing – “the negotiations are currently continuing”, although too slowly. Such a delay is explained not by Kyiv's position, but by Moscow's periodically updated demands, since – “the ball is now clearly in Russia's court”.

Rutte added that NATO member states have not drawn up their own “red lines” because they are not part of the negotiation process, but they intend to ensure that Ukraine remains a “proud sovereign state” that moves forward after concluding a fair and lasting peace.

Earlier we wrote that Shmyhal said how much of Ukraine’s territory had been cleared of Russian mines.
