Artyukh stated on the national telethon that there are currently no Russian troops on the territory of the region, but the occupiers are trying to enter Sumy region every day.
The head of the OVA reported that the defense of our borders continues in the Sumy and Kursk directions, writes the publication “NBN”.
Artyukh also commented on the data from DeepState analysts about the “gray” zone in the villages of Basovka and Zhuravka. The official said that Russian invaders try to penetrate Sumy Oblast through these settlements every day and expand the “gray” zone.
The head of the OVA added that, in particular, in the direction of Basovka, the capture of which was announced by the Russian Ministry of Defense on April 6, enemy assaults are taking place daily, but the Defense Forces are successfully eliminating the invaders.
The official added that today the evacuation plan has been introduced in 190 settlements in the region; this zone was recently expanded to 17 kilometers.
