David Koepp is the author of the original Jurassic Park from director Steven Spielberg and its sequel in 1997. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film has a completely new storyline. This potentially rules out the return of Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard's characters. And also, perhaps, we won’t see Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum.

Frank Marshall, who directed the Jurassic World trilogy, and another franchise veteran Patrick Crowley returned to production. Steven Spielberg will executive produce through his Amblin Entertainment.
