The director and screenwriter of the film project was the legendary Alex Garland, who worked on “Ex Machina”, “Annihilation”, “Masculine”, “28 Days Later”. The main roles in the films were played by Kirsten Dunst (“Melancholia”, “Interview with the Vampire”), Nick Offerman (“Parks and Recreation”), Wagner Moura (“Narcos”), Jesse Plemens (“In the Hands of a Male”, “Breaking the Shores”) “) and the star of the biopic “Priscilla” Cailee Spaeny.
Tape «States Rising» became the most expensive film of the American independent company A24 with a budget of $75 million. Ukrainian viewers will see the film on April 11 simultaneously with the whole world in 2D, 4DX and IMAX formats. The film is exclusively being shown by distribution company Green Light Films.
