The American group Imagine Dragons opens a new era of the band with the fresh track “Eyes Close,” reports WomanEL. The musical work came out with a different sound than the group's previous singles.
“Eyes Closed” is a little rap-rock, a little pop, a little alt, and also some dubstep-ub-ubs. The song's video was directed by Andrew Donohoe, featuring frontman Dan Reynolds on an amazing Indiana Jones-esque adventure through an ancient dream world that turns out to be his subconscious.
Reynolds noted that the world today looks very different than it did 10 years ago , when Imagine Dragons was gaining popularity. But he managed to combine notes of the past and present in the composition.
In addition, Dan appeared in the video work in a light suit with embroidery, reminiscent of a slightly Ukrainian image.
