48-year-old Russian humorist Maxim Galkin continues to support Ukraine and demonstrate it in his social media, which has repeatedly provoked a negative reaction from Russian commentators. Recently, Galkin visited the Ukrainian Museum in New York, USA, and shared his hostility to the exhibition of Ukrainian modernism, which again provoked a storm among his fellow officials, WomanEL.
Today, having visited the Ukrainian Museum in New York, there is a small, but rather impressive, exhibition of Ukrainian modernism. In the first place, the representative exhibition of Oleksandri Ekster will take place. These are paintings, sketches of decorations and costumes. In one of the halls, a fragment of the old film “Aelita” is broadcast with costumes by the artist, one of the same performances at the exhibition,
written by Galkin.
The humorist published a bunch of stories from the museum on his Instagram, recognizing subscribers from the robots of Ukrainian mits. In its frames you can see paintings by such famous artists as David and Volodymyr Burliuk, Maria Sinyakova and Oleksandr Bogomazov – bright representatives of Ukrainian modernism. These exhibitions will help to embed on the canvas ideas that reflect the richness of Ukrainian culture, which the creators of the USSR often wanted to be erased from national history.
Ukraine Russian subscribers to Galkin sang loudly for his encouragement. Russian commentators certainly reacted.
