On the eve of the holidays, British singer Ed Sheeran delighted fans with a new video. The 33-year-old artist created a real Christmas vibe in the video for the song “Under The Tree”, writes WomanEL.
Ed's partner in the video was actress Claudia Jessie. She is known to viewers for her role as Eloise Bridgerton in the popular series “The Bridgertons”.
In the video, Sheeran and Jessie portray lovers who are preparing together for the most cozy holiday of the year – Christmas. The atmosphere of the video is filled with romance and warmth: scenes of decorating the Christmas tree, shared moments over dinner, and festive hugs create a festive mood.

However, in parallel with the romantic scenes, there are also moments of loneliness of the main character, which is the key theme of the track. Ed Sheeran said that “Under The Tree” was written under the influence of the plot of the film “This is Christmas”.
The leitmotif of the composition was the story of the hero who dreams of spending Christmas with his father, but due to circumstances this is impossible.
This song is dedicated to people who are left alone at Christmas. This is a very sensual and emotional scene, which, unfortunately, is familiar to many. It was important for me to convey this atmosphere in the track, – shared the singer.
The song became the official soundtrack to the Richard Curtis film “This is Christmas”. The film will premiere on Netflix on December 4.
