Paris has once again topped the Top 100 City Destinations ranking for 2024, according to a study by Euromonitor International. The French capital retained its top spot thanks to high scores for tourism, sustainable development and economic efficiency, writes WomanEL.

Madrid and Tokyo also made the top three, confirming the popularity of European and Asian metropolises among tourists. European cities continue to dominate the ranking: Rome took fourth place, Milan fifth, and Amsterdam seventh. Barcelona, which has been traditionally popular among tourists, was in tenth position. New York, Sydney and Singapore also made the top ten cities for travel, taking sixth, eighth and ninth places respectively.
London, despite its strong tourism infrastructure, fell three places to 13th in the ranking. This is due to certain shortcomings in tourism policy and health care. At the same time, Bangkok was recognized as the best city for tourism policy, as well as for attractiveness to travelers, attracting 32.4 million tourists in 2024.
