After a long wait, the world has seen the full trailer for the first officially authorized documentary about the legendary band Led Zeppelin — “Becoming Led Zeppelin,” writes WomanEL.
The project, announced back in 2019, went through several stages of production, including re-editing and a name change after its premiere at the Venice Film Festival in 2021. Screenwriter and producer Allison McGurty shared how the film was created.

We spent five years flying across the Atlantic, searching attics and basements in search of unique footage, photos and recordings. Thanks to IMAX technology, this 55-year-old music and video look as if they were created only yesterday, – said McGurty.
The film will immerse viewers in the world of the cult group, telling the story of their formation using rare archival materials. According to the creators, “Becoming Led Zeppelin” should become not only a story for fans, but also a source of inspiration for the younger generation. The official premiere of the film will take place on February 5.
