Billionaire, engineer and media personality Elon Musk is back in the spotlight, reports WomanEL. This time, the reason is not a rocket launch or another Tesla innovation, but an unexpected change of his name on the social network X (formerly Twitter). Now the inventor is called Kekius Maximus.
“Kekius” is associated with popular meme culture and cryptocurrency, while “Maximus” refers to the legendary hero from the movie “Gladiator”. Instead of the usual photo, Musk's avatar now features the iconic Pepe the Frog in the military uniform of a Roman legionnaire, holding a PlayStation joystick.
This is not the first time Musk has used his platform to play with cryptocurrencies. Last year, his tweet about Milady Meme Coin caused an unprecedented increase in its value by more than 12 thousand percent. The current name change may be a kind of advertisement for a new cryptocurrency or just a joke, although experts are already predicting potential changes in the market.
