Former SKID ROW vocalist Erik Grönval has released a cover of EUROPE's iconic song “The Final Countdown”. His interpretation is characterized by a gloomy atmosphere and a slow tempo, adding a completely new mood to the composition, reports WomanEL.
All instruments and production belong to Swedish musician John T. Together they created the official video, which was shot in a unique location – Noors Slott castle, built in the 14th century. This historical building added a touch of Gothic aesthetics to the clip.
For Erik, this cover version became a symbol of renewal. After he was forced to leave SKID ROW, the musician decided to start a new page in his work. The new performance of “The Final Countdown” reflects the full range of his emotions: from pain to hope.

Along with the musical project, Grönval presented his autobiography “Power – Music, Death, Life”. The book was published in English and became a moving and truthful testimony of the artist's life. And also an inspiration for all who do not give up even in the most difficult circumstances.
Previously, Rammstein showed the tour through the eyes of the team: 135 shows and millions of fans.
