The First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska, spoke frankly about the role of the Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen in international politics, and also shared the details of her relationship with the wives of world leaders in an interview for the telethon “Edyni Novyni”, writes WomanEL.

According to Zelenska, “soft diplomacy” (soft power) is not just a concept, but a powerful tool that Ukraine actively uses uses in difficult times.

Olena emphasized that the Summit helps change the perception of the role of the first lady. She is no longer just a “companion of the president,” but an active participant in international processes who creates important projects with a social impact.
The conversation also mentioned the wife of the former US President, Melania Trump. Zelenska shared memories of their first meeting in 2019.
