Legal access to Ukrainian films
The platform “Dovzhenko-Center. Online” allows you to legally watch films that were previously only available at festivals or special screenings. All films were digitized using modern equipment from the Film Laboratory, which guarantees high image and sound quality.
The cost of watching one film is 85 hryvnias. This is an affordable price that helps support the center's activities and preserve Ukrainian cinema.
Collections for movie lovers
In addition to individual films, curated collections are available on the platform, which introduce various aspects of Ukrainian cinema:
• Iconic periods: Soviet, independent, modern cinema.
• Genres: drama, documentary, comedies.< br>• Themes and figures: historical events, cultural phenomena, outstanding directors.
Collections are created so that viewers can better understand the context and the meaning of Ukrainian tapes.
Lecture – educational materials about cinema
The platform has a unique section – “Lectures”, where lectures, interviews, courses and archival materials are available that reveal the versatility of Ukrainian cinema. Now users can watch six lectures from the series “ How to stop worrying and fall in love with Ukrainian cinema. This program received the Kinokolo award in 2023.
