Canadian singer and producer Abel Tesfaye, better known as The Weeknd, announced the postponement of the release of his new album Hurry Up Tomorrow to January 31. The reason for this decision was the large-scale forest fires that swept through California, writes WomanEL.
On his Instagram, the artist also announced the cancellation of a planned concert at the legendary Rose Bowl in Los Angeles, which was supposed to take place on January 25.

With respect and concern for the residents of Los Angeles County, I am canceling this performance, – the singer noted.
Tesfaye emphasized that Los Angeles has always been a source of his creative inspiration. He expressed his willingness to support the affected communities.
I, as before, am focused on helping the residents who are experiencing this tragedy, – the artist shared.
Hurry Up Tomorrow will be the final part of the musical trilogy that began with the album After Hours in 2020. In addition, a film of the same name will be released in May, where the singer will star alongside Jenna Ortega and Barry Keoghan.
The US Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences also postponed the announcement of the 2025 Oscar nominees for the second time due to the fires.
