Syrian-Ukrainian singer MUAYAD has released a music video for the song “New Life,” reports WomanEL. This composition is not just a musical release, but a story about a bold choice, a new beginning, and faith in yourself.
Muayad is an artist with a unique six-octave voice, this year's participant in the longlist of the national selection for Eurovision 2025 and a national favorite.
The symbolic title of the composition is “New Life”, as a new stage of the artist's work begins. After winning the show “Everyone Sings”, several years have passed and Muayad has matured and changed musically.
The song was written by Mykyta Goryuk, a member of the Quest Pistols band, and arranged by Serhiy Ranov, known for his collaborations with Parfeniuk, Wellboy, Kazka, and many others. The track successfully combines Ukrainian-Arabic notes, which will become the basis for Muayad's further work.
A video is presented along with the song. The main symbol of the clip is a giant balloon dog, which personifies the moment when everything changes for the better. According to the plot, Muayad's world is black and white, and after meeting a bright dog, the world around him becomes colorful, filled with life and new opportunities and positive emotions.
The balloon dog was created by a well-known blogger in Europe, Mr. Twister. It is the largest dog figure ever made in Ukraine. Giant balloons with a diameter of 21-52.5 cm were used to create it, and it became a key element of the clip.
In addition, Volodymyr Bulba, advisor to the Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine and co-founder of the Joint Victory Radio and Television Company, participated in the video work.
“New Life” is more than just a song title for me. At a certain point in my life, I could have stayed in Germany, but I chose Ukraine. I knew that because of my age I would no longer be able to return to Europe, that this border was already closed for me. I came to Kyiv without a single person I knew. I simply believed that I could. The “New Life” video was shot in just one day, but it was created by an ambitious and creative team that wanted to make something truly special.
Moreover, the singer emphasizes that he will donate part of the monetization proceeds from “New Life” to help animals that have suffered from the war and need shelter.
