IAEA chief arrives in Ukraine to “help prevent nuclear incident”

IAEA Chairman Visits Ukraine to 'Help Prevent Nuclear Incident'</i> Atomic Energy Agency Rafael Grossi has arrived in Ukraine on his 11th visit since the start of the full-scale Russian invasion.</p>
<p>As the official noted on his page on the X network, he plans to visit the Kyivska substation, which is “critical to the safety of Ukrainian nuclear energy.” Grossi must “assess the damage caused and help prevent a nuclear incident.”</p>
<p>The IAEA director noted that the weakened power grid “poses an increasing risk to all Ukrainian nuclear power plants, not just Zaporizhzhya.”</p>
<p>In his message, Grossi did not mention once that Russia is destroying Ukraine's energy infrastructure.</p>
<ul>
<li>In December, the IAEA condemned the shelling of the Ukrainian power grid, also “forgetting” to mention the Russian aggressor.</li>
