Ukrainian international boxing judge Elchin Muradov died in the war with the Russian invaders.
The Ukrainian Boxing Federation reported the tragic news.
Muradov died at the front as a result of a Russian artillery strike. He was the chief boxing judge in Kyiv.
“It became known that while at the front, our friend, brother, international judge Elchin Muradov was killed as a result of a Russian artillery strike.
From the first days of the Russian invasion, Elchin Muradov went to defend Ukraine from the enemy. Before the war, he did a lot for the development of Kyiv and Ukrainian boxing and, in particular, for refereeing. We will always remember everything that this decent and good man did.
The Ukrainian Boxing Federation expresses sincere condolences to Elchin’s family, friends and loved ones! Eternal memory and glory to the Hero who died defending our Motherland! We will never forget!” the message says.
Earlier it was reported that the young Ukrainian fencer Fedor Epifanov died in the war with the Russian invaders.
