Spurs won their third consecutive victory in the English Championship.
“Tottenham” beat “Everton” Ukrainian defender Vitaly Mykolenko in the home match of the 18th round of the English Premier League (EPL) . The match in London ended with a score of 2:1 .
In the 9th minute of the match, Richarlison put the hosts ahead by finishing in Brennan Johnson's cross.
In the 18th minute, Spurs doubled their lead with Son Heung-min scoring.
Immediately after the break, the Toffees could have reduced the gap in the score – Dominic Culver-Lewin sent the ball into the goal of the London club, but the goal was canceled due to a violation of the rules.
In the 82nd minute, Sean Dyche's team scored according to the rules – Andre Gomes accurately shot low into the far corner from outside the penalty area. However, the Merseyside team could not escape defeat.
Mikolenko entered the starting line-up for the Toffees and played the full match. The Ukrainian was one of the best players among his team.

This is Tottenham's third consecutive victory in the Premier League. Ange Postecoglou's team (36 points) rose to fourth place in the standings. Everton interrupted its streak of four victories in a row in the English Championship and is in 16th place with 16 points.
Note that on November 17 , Everton were deprived of 10 points in the Premier League for violating financial fair play rules. The Merseyside club is trying to challenge this punishment.
In the next round, Tottenham will play away against Brighton on December 28, and Mikolenko’s team will host Manchester City the day before.
